Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel supports Jadon Sancho's omission from England's World Cup squad.
Sancho featured for England at last year's Euros, and joined Manchester United for £73m shortly after the tournament.
However, he has struggled to live up to expectations, only showing glimpses of his potential, and this has cost him a place in Qatar.
"I don't think he's done enough," Schmeichel said on Sky Sports.
"I'm a little bit disappointed with the talent that he has, and yes it's difficult to come to Old Trafford with that price-tag, I understand that. But he's shown that he can do whatever he did at Borussia Dortmund, he just hasn't done it enough."
