Man Utd legend Cantona my boyhood hero - Bradford midfielder Law

Nicky Law has labelled Eric Cantona as his childhood idol.

The Bradford City midfielder took part in an EFL Q&A for the Daily Mail when he revealed the identity of his boyhood hero.

“Eric Cantona," he said without hesitation.

“I remember my first ever game that my dad took me to. It was Boxing Day (1996), Nottingham Forest away at the City Ground.

“United won 4-0 and that was when I became a Man Utd fan. Cantona stood out on the day. Then I got the United white away strip, my first football strip, with 'Cantona' on the back.

“It was everything about him, just the aura he had. And he was one of the first foreign players I could remember."
