Manchester United will be disappointed by transfer target Cody Gakpo's comments.
The forward, who plays for PSV Eindhoven, spoke about his future as his side defeated Monaco in a play-off to keep their Champions League group stage hopes alive.
While United want to sign Gakpo this summer, he may want to remain at PSV, as United are only in the Europa League this season.
Gakpo told ESPN (via the Mirror): "We must first focus on [the second leg against Monaco] and try to make it to the Champions League.
"Then it is more likely that I will stay. I don't think I have said anywhere that I am leaving, so there is definitely a chance that I will stay.
"I'm open for a cup of coffee with the management – or coffee for them and water for me. We'll see how it goes."
