Manchester United defender Ethan Laird's contract has been extended by one year.
The youngster is one of the most highly rated prospects within the club's academy.
Laird was out of contract at the end of June, but his deal is now set to run until the summer of 2024.
The 21-year-old spent the past season on loan at Queens Park Rangers and made 30 starts in the Championship.
Per the Manchester Evening News, Laird is hoping that he can play for the first team this coming season.
Considering he is out of contract in a year, it may be a do or die season for Laird at United.
