Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw is set for a return to the first-team after being left out of the U23 side on Monday night.

Shaw has played the last three games for Ricky Sbragia's side after making his comeback from a foot injury.

The omission could spell Shaw's long-awaited return to the first-team in Wednesday night's Carabao Cup clash with Burton Albion at Old Trafford.

Scott McTominay was also left out of the squad and could feature alongside Shaw against the Brewers.
