English sporting director Paul Mitchell is attracting Saudi Pro League interest.

A free agent after leaving AS Monaco, Mitchell has been linked with Manchester United.

However, The Sun says Saudi clubs are also looking at MItchell as they plan the next phase of their recruitment drive.

The former Tottenham and Southampton chief is well known to SPL recruitment director Michael Emenalo.

Interestingly, Mitchell was in contact with Saudi-owned Newcastle before they turned to Dan Ashworth as football director.
