Luton Town's signing of Tahith Chong from Birmingham City has boosted Manchester United.
The Red Devils have a limited budget at present, as they are working around Financial Fair Play issues.
Chong was impressive for Birmingham in the Championship last season, and has now earned a move to Premier League new boys Luton.
When the deal was done, Manchester Evening News stated that United will be owed 25 percent of any fee when Chong is sold on by City.
Now that Birmingham have parted with Chong for an initial £4 million, United look set for a £1 million windfall.
That money is likely going to go towards the pursuit of a new center forward at Old Trafford.
