Manchester United defender Teden Mengi is likely to leave the club on loan before the season starts.

The 21-year-old is wanted by teams in England and around Europe for a season long loan.

Per the Manchester Evening News, the club is open to letting him leave for regular game time.

An injury in December prevented Mengi from going out on loan during the second half of last season.

Mengi even captained United's Under-21s in matches against Tottenham and Leicester at the end of last season.

He has played for the senior side, making his debut in August 2020 under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
