Manchester United are in advanced talks to secure Diogo Dalot to a new deal.
Mundo Deportivo says talks are at an 'advanced' stage and that the offer on the table is a five-year contract.
The Portugal defender's current deal was due to run out in the summer until United triggered a 12-month extension before Christmas to keep him until June 2024.
Barcelona had made no secret of their desire to freshen up their full-back options but Dalot has impressed under Erik ten Hag and he also loves the intensity of English football.
"We are in a position to say that we are negotiating and seeing how both parties will benefit, but it is no secret that I am happy to be here, so we will see how things go," Dalot said last month.
"I love this club and I love to play for this club. Progressively we are in a good direction as a team.
"For me, this is the most important part and hopefully individually I can continue to help the team as I am doing."
