Manchester United coach Benni McCarthy is proud of his work with Marcus Rashford.

The South African has been serving as one of the assistants under Erik ten Hag this season.

While McCarthy credits the Dutchman with United's revival this term, he did admit to getting Rashford in the right places to score goals through his individual coaching of the club's forwards.

A fan praised McCarthy while getting an autograph signed, to which McCarthy replied: “Thank you, that's the manager, it's the manager."

When the fans replied "it's you as well", McCarthy then mentioned Rashford: “I've got him [Rashford] in the right place."
