Manchester United are reviving plans for Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

The veteran former Stoke City centre-forward attracted enquiries from United in August and is back on their radar this month.

Sky Deutschland says United are in contact with Choupo-Moting's minders this week and pushing to convince him about a return to England.

The 33 year-old is off contract in June, though has met with Bayern directors about a new deal.

Choupo-Moting is viewed as a cut-price replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo after his release by United last month.
