Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is chasing Southampton fullback Nathaniel Clyne. The Sun says the strength in depth at right-back has been doubted at Old Trafford this season and Clyne, a newly capped England international, could be the man to solve them problems.
He has been Southampton's outstanding performer in a season where they have unexpectedly risen to the top four in the Premier League, sitting above United heading into the weekend's action.
But Southampton are not expected to budge cheaply if United want Clyne - the asking price would probably be in excess of £20million.
