Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay still features heavily in Erik ten Hag's plans.
The Red Devils are knocking back any loan or transfer offers for the Scottish international.
While McTominay has not been in the starting line up in recent weeks, the Daily Mail claims he is very much part of ten Hag's plans.
The Dutch coach sees McTominay as an ideal squad player, who can fill in whenever there is a need to rest or rotate a player.
He is also improving his game and adapting to the coach's tactics, which means he may become a starter in the future.
McTominay is presently behind Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in the pecking order.
