Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says Anthony Martial can be in his squad for their clash at Newcastle.

At Friday's presser for the trip to Newcastle, Ten Hag delivered an update on Martial.

The France striker has missed 32 of United's 46 games this season and has not played since the Manchester derby win over City nearly three months ago, when he came off at half-time.

Wout Weghorst has started all 18 games he has been available for since he arrived on loan from Burnley and Martial has been absent for all of them.

"He's training," Ten Hag said. "So for two weeks now, I think he can be in the squad on Sunday."
