Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag attempted to solve Jadon Sancho's poor timekeeping with a separate schedule last season.
Sancho was dropped by Ten Hag for defeat at Arsenal last week over poor training ground form.
It's since emerged part of Ten Hag's complaints have been Sancho missing scheduled meetings and training sessions.
The Athletic says last season Ten Hag attempted to fix the 23-year-old's issues by setting him a schedule at least one hour earlier than the rest of the squad.
While the tactic had some initial success in getting Sancho to arrive on time, it reportedly didn't last.
