Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is sending an SOS to Anthony Martial ahead of next week's clash with Liverpool.

Martial is yet to feature this season, but has been back in light training since the weekend, watching on as his United team-mates were smashed 4-0 at Brentford.

That came just days after an opening weekend loss at home to Brighton, already putting Erik ten Hag under huge pressure.

But the Red Devils boss has had some rare good news, with Martial looking ready to be able to face their bitter rivals, reports The Sun.

They take on the Reds - who have drawn their first two league games - at Old Trafford next Monday night.
