Man Utd boss Ten Hag praises Maguire for victory at Leeds

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was understandably pleased with his side after they beat Leeds United 2-0.

The Red Devils secured three points in the Premier League, days after a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford against the same opponent.

Ten Hag heaped praise on captain Harry Maguire after the game, while also speaking about David De Gea managing his 400th Premier League appearance for the club.

On Maguire, he stated: "Yes [played well]. But return is the wrong remark, because he played against Reading and he played against Bournemouth. And Harry will keep playing many games, and we need that, because we are the only team in Europe that is playing in four competitions."

On De Gea, he added: "A magnificent performance - it tells something about the career, how good that career is. He is still a very fit guy and he's only 32 so he has many years to go."
