Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw could return to the team in the coming games.

The English international has been absent for the past few months with a muscle problem.

However, the left-sided flier is now resuming training with the first team ahead of a comeback.

Manager Erik ten Hag confirmed as much, telling reporters: “Luke Shaw has been training for two weeks with the team.

“We are quite hopeful that he will return to the squad for Sunday's game."

United are set to take on Everton in the Premier League on Sunday at Goodison Park.
