Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is keen to welcome back Mason Greenwood for preseason training.
The Athletic says United have completed their 'thorough' investigation after all charges against Greenwood were dropped by the Crown Prosecution in February over accusations of attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour.
Ten Hag has the report in front of him, though the final call will not be left to the manager. United execs will also have their input into the decision.
But the Dutchman is said to be willing to let the Bradford-born player back in the squad.
United's senior players also favour Greenwood's return for the new season.
