Man Utd boss Ten Hag admits Evans injury headache

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag admits that he has yet another injury concern in defence.

The Red Devils were not only beaten 4-3 by FC Copenhagen in the Champions League, but they also saw Jonny Evans limp off in the contest.

Evans came off in the second half of United's loss in the group stages, which was partially the result of Marcus Rashford being given a straight red in the first half.

On Evans' fitness, Ten Hag told reporters post-game: “I'm not sure in this moment. He has to come off. I think it was a pity because he was part of it from that good part in the game where we were controlling, very composed and calm, it's the way I see my team.

“Yeah, but he had to come off and I think still we are in control, still we are leading. So we have to see how bad it is.

“It's not about 11 players. We have more players and we have good players, so we have good replacements to solve that."
