Man Utd boss Solskjaer rates Bissouma - but won't move for him

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has dropped out of any battle for Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.

The Independent says Bissouma does not currently fit the criteria Solskjaer.

The Mali international is expected to net a big move in the near future after continuing to impress at the Amex Stadium, where he has now become a key cog in Graham Potter's Brighton revolution.

United and Solskjaer view Bissouma as a box-to-box player as opposed to a passer, which is what the Norwegian currently wants at this moment in time.

Bissouma's style is similar to that of Fred, who has had a difficult start to the campaign at the base of midfield.

Scott McTominay, who recently underwent a small operation on his groin, is also deemed a box-to-box midfielder, which is why United are looking for something different right now.
