Man Utd boss Solskjaer explains holding back Bailly for Watford win

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer explained holding back Eric Bailly for victory over Watford.

Bailly shone against Chelsea earlier in the week but has been a substitute for the two subsequent matches this past week, however Solskjaer insists his place on the bench was simply down to managing his comeback.

He explained, "Eric's performance down there (vs Chelsea) was fantastic, of course he has not played for a while.

"Victor (Lindelof) has recovered and we are going to have to give Eric time to settle in, and train in between. He needs the training. That is one reason, and Mason has recovered after not travelling to Brugge and we want to go a bit more attacking with Brandon and Mason swapping."
