Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has blasted Rangers fans for the last time they visited Manchester.
Rangers lost to Zenit St Petersburg in the UEFA Cup final at The City of Manchester Stadium in May 2008.
But there was a riot amongst the 200,000 who crammed into the city centre when one of the big screens showing the game broke down.
United boss Fergie said: "We have good cause to remember a match that pained me as some of the visiting supporters ran amok.
"It was a good idea to have city screens showing the match live, but hardly helpful when the relay failed. It's no excuse for the appalling behaviour of a section of fans."
