Manchester United and Ashley Young are currently engaged in talks over a new one-year contract.

The 33-year-old is among a host of United players that are out of contract at the end of the season.

Sky Sports understands the negotiations are in the initial stage.

Young has made 10 appearances for United this season. He joins the likes of Anthony Martial, David De Gea and Juan Mata as upcoming free agents.
