Man Utd and Liverpool set to go head-to-head over Leeds midfielder Phillips

Manchester United and Liverpool are going head to head to secure Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United.

The defensive midfielder is a target for the two illustrious English clubs, as they attempt to shore up their midfields for the coming years.

Phillips has moved ahead of Declan Rice from West Ham United as Man United's primary midfield target for the summer, per the Daily Star.

Liverpool are very keen on Phillips, who starred for England at Euro 2020.

They claim that Leeds would want a fee in the region of £60million to part with one of their most important players.
