Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will launch a bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer.
Kane is about to enter the final year of his Spurs and is interesting Manchester United.
AS says Real want to play Kane alongside Karim Benzema, with the England captain to eventually replace the Frenchman. Benzema's deal runs to 2024.
Benzema has a massive contract offer in front of him from Al Ittihad, so making Real's need for a new striker all the more acute.
United are pushing Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to open talks about a price for Kane, though he would prefer to sell the striker outside the Premier League.
