Man Utd ace Rashford details where he needs to improve his game

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford admits there's plenty of aspects of his game he wants to improve.

Rashford is leading the charge for Erik ten Hag's Reds in 2022/23, with the eight goals he has scored so far double that of any other team-mate.is leading the charge for Erik ten Hag's Reds in 2022/23, with the eight goals he has scored so far double that of any other team-mate.

He told manutd.com: “I still think I can get a lot more goals from headers.

“I just feel like if I gamble more, I just feel like I'll score more headers.

“Under Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer], he moved me inside left a little bit, so I was making these [heading] positions a bit easier. When I was a bit closer inside and not playing as a no.9, I could work in a partnership."

In the Carabao Cup tie against Aston Villa last Thursday, an aerial ball he flicked on to Christian Eriksen led to his most recent goal in Red.

Rashford also said: “It's a nice feeling when you connect like that with the ball in the air."

“I always feel like I need to be scoring more goals in those situations, because I feel like when I get in the areas, I have good attributes to be scoring them types of goals.

“It's something I've been working on recently so I'm looking to keep doing that, keep getting in the areas and trying to get on the end of crosses."
