Man City skipper Kompany hails Silva quality for goal

Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany hailed the quality of David Silva's goal in their 1-1 draw at Chelsea.

Silva used all his nous to redirect Sergio Aguero's fierce volley in, and once the champions were back on level terms they took control of the match.

On the goal, Kompany told City's website: "I guess that's what top players do, he read it well and because of that we managed to score, as I said we were just lacking that little bit of luck for the second goal.

"That's probably the hardest away game we'll have this season, experience tells us that five points is nothing so for us it's time to start a good run again and to put everything behind and play at the level that we can again."
