Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has been hit by Samir Nasri's recovery delays.
The French ace damaged his knee ligaments in last month's win at Newcastle and was ruled out for between six to eight weeks.
The Daily Star says the former Arsenal star will not be fit again until the end of this month.
It means he will definitely miss City's Wembley showdown with Sunderland and the visit of Barcelona, but he could be available for the return leg at the Nou Camp on March 12.
