Man City doc denies taunting tweet for Liverpool boss Klopp

A Manchester City club doctor seemingly deleted a social media post where he was slamming Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds were defeated 2-1 by Leeds United in the Premier League, and have now lost two league games on the spin since beating last season's champions City.

The game between the two sides was contentious, with Klopp sent off for his reaction to the referee after a tackle on Mohamed Salah went unpunished.

After the Liverpool-Leeds game, the Twitter account of Dr Shoaib Amaan, a club doctor with Pep Guardiola's team posted the following: “Don't forget to change the time tonight, Klopp's going back," along with a winking emoji.

The tweet was later deleted, with the club doctor claiming a friend made the post on his phone without his approval.
