A Premier League auction is set to spark for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.

The Mail on Sunday says Manchester City and Chelsea are set to challenge Manchester United for the services of Bale this summer.

It has been assumed that if Bale does leave Madrid then a move to United is the most likely.

But both Chelsea and City are in need of attacking stimulus, especially in the context of Champions League football.
