Manchester City were comfortable 3-0 winners over Manchester United U18 on Saturday.

City hosted United in the semi-final of the U18 Premier League Cup on Saturday morning but fans wanting to attend were left disappointed after the game was played behind closed doors.

The Blues booked their place in the final of the competition against either Middlesbrough or Derby County but the game was only watched by the family and friends of the players.

City tweeted: "For security reasons, spectators will now be limited to player families for the game. Seasoncards will not be accepted."
