Former Real Madrid midfielder Borja Valero has completed his move to Real Mallorca.

Valero has signed a five-year deal with Mallorca and said: "After two years in the Segunda Liga with the Castilla, I wanted to play in the Primera Liga and there's no better way to do that than with Mallorca, a strong team that has had ten very good years.

"In Madrid, however, they look for 'cracks' world famous names and it is not easy to breakthrough, for that reason I'm thankful for this opportunity."
