Malaga sports director Mario Armando Husillos is being linked with West Ham.

Marca says should former Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini be confirmed as Hammers manager, Husillos could also move to London.

A formal offer from West Ham could be made to Husillos as early as this week.

The experienced football chief submitted his resignation to Malaga seven days ago, which so far has been ignored by club owner Sheikh al-Thani.

However, while Husillos continues to attend to his job, there is an expectation Al-Thani will allow him to leave in the coming days.
