Malaga have completed the signing of Real Madrid defender Diego Llorente.

Marca says Llorente will join up with Malaga this season to gain more experience playing in La Liga.

Zinedine Zidane was keen to keep all of his players for the start of preseason training before deciding their futures but Llorente has left Madrid to finalise the deal in the Andalusian city.

At 22 years old, it will be the central defender's second season on loan in as many years with many believing with enough game time he can develop in La Liga and return to Real Madrid where he can become a starter one day.
