Mainz sports chief Roven Schroder has revealed four Premier League clubs are in contact for Jean-Philippe Gbamin.

Mainz are inviting offers for the defensive utility.

And Schroder said, "I do not like to quantify the number of enquiries. We are able to act, we want to reach a certain price with this transfer.

"There is obviously movement. Some figures have already been exchanged, but nothing has been formalised in writing.

"Edimilson Fernandes is a player, by nature, who better fits this midfield job than Jean-Philippe.
