Former Argentina fullback Carlos Mac Allister is excited seeing his sons face-off tomorrow night in the Europa League.

Alexis Mac Allister's Liverpool will host brother Kevin's Union Saint-Gilloise.

Carlos told the Liverpool Echo: "When I saw that they were in the same Europa League group, it was incredible.

"I will be very happy to see them both on the same pitch in a competition as huge as the Europa League.

"I am really into watching their matches. It's going to be very emotional and nice for all the family at Anfield on Thursday.

"Even though some of the brothers have already played against one another while in Argentina, this match is different because It means a lot to me to see how the boys have grown in their careers."

Carlos also said: "All the time they are joking with each other!

"Alexis says he will dribble past Kevin, or Kevin will say he will put in a hard tackle, or Alexis will say that he will score. In the WhatsApp group of the family, they joke and talk a lot. But they live everything in a healthy way."
