Agents for Olympique Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta expect Arsenal to soon make an offer.

The Brazil international is a top target for Arsenal chief Edu.

London reporter Charles Watts, on the Arsenal Analyzed YouTube channel, stated: “Paqueta? There is definitely an interest in him. There was no offer as far as I know. He is a player to watch closely. He can play the number 8 role, he's a great fit – that's the position Arsenal are looking to improve on this summer.

"Someone like Paqueta could definitely be at the top of that hierarchy [of midfield targets]. The people who are close to him, the player and around this matter, think that Arsenal will make an offer. They expect there to be one, it's just a question of when it will happen."
