Luton remain locked in LDU Quito talks for Zambrano

Luton Town are confident signing LDU Quito midfielder Oscar Zambrano.

The Hatters are prepared to pay a club record fee for the Ecuadorian youngster.

Quito are demanding £5.5m for the youngster after rejecting a previous £3.8m bid from Luton, says The Sun.

Hatters chief scout Phil Chapple went to speak to the LDU Quito player.

But a deal couldn't be settled, but Luton - including manager Rob Edwards - are confident of reaching terms with Quito.
