Luton defender Gabe Osho earns first Nigeria call

Luton defender Gabe Osho has been called up by Nigeria for their next squad gathering.

The African nation will be taking on Ghana and Mali in friendly matches later in March.

The 25-year-old Osho, who came through the Reading academy, has been with Luton since 2020.

Osho has impressed in the Premier League, playing 18 times in all competitions and scoring in pivotal games.

He netted against Arsenal and Newcastle United, while he also played in a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace recently.

Osho will not be managed by a permanent Nigerian boss in the next meetup, as Jose Peseiro left the job.
