Luton Town boss Rob Edwards admits they're in talks to sign Manchester United defender Teden Mengi.
Edwards admits they're keen on the centre-half.
He said today: “He's someone that we like.
"There are talks ongoing at the moment, but I've got nothing to report.
"Before anything's finished, I've got to be honest, I don't want to talk about anyone's players.
"He's someone that we like, but I don't want to go into too much detail at the moment if you don't mind.
"If we can further on, then I'll give you some more."
Meanwhile, Edwards admits a deal for released Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe has fallen through.
Edwards said: “We weren't quite able to agree on anything so that's over."
"He's a good lad and a good player and of course we then wish him well, but it's like sometimes you can have any kind of list and look at targets and sometimes it doesn't quite work out."
