Everton boss Roberto Martinez has made it clear that Romelu Lukaku and Gareth Barry will remain on loan for the entire season.
Chelsea striker Lukaku starred with two goals and an assist in Monday night's 3-2 win over Newcastle United while Manchester City midfielder Barry has made three appearances since he arrived in the summer and both will not be heading back to their parent clubs on a call-back option.
"It's a loan deal for the season. That's the case for Gareth Barry and for Romelu. I could be sweating now if it wasn't," he told reporters.
Undefeated Everton now sit fourth on the Premier League table with three wins and three draws from six outings.
