Moreno Longo has announced he's leaving Torino.
Longo was brought in to replace Walter Mazzarri in February, but will now be replaced by Marco Giampaolo.
“This was my last match at Torino," Longo told Sky Sport Italia following a 1-1 draw at Bologna.
“I wish to thank those who allowed me the opportunity to come here, as well as all those who accompanied me in this adventure. I was brought here and asked to save Torino from the threat of relegation. I achieved that."
He added: “Giampaolo is certainly a coach that we really like and an excellent tactician. He is currently under contract with another club, so it wouldn't be right to say too much about it," Vagnati told Sky Sport Italia when asked outright if Giampaolo will be the new Torino boss.
“Let's just say he is a coach we admire very much."
