Liverpool loanee Pedro Chirivella provided a crucial assist in Willem II's 1-1 draw with Groningen.

Groningen got on the score board early when Ritsu Doan took a fabulous left-footed strike from outside the area in the 14th minute.

Willem II was able to find the equaliser in the 71st minute as Chirivella passed from outside the box to Ismail Azzoui, who was then able to weave past two defenders and fire home into the bottom right-hand corner.
