There was some more good news for Liverpool fans on Sunday in the form of Divock Origi.
The Belgian striker, who signed with the Reds in the summer, netted a hat-trick for loan club Lille in their 3-0 French Ligue 1 win over Rennes at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
19-year old Origi hit the back of the net in the 38th, 63rd (penalty) and 72nd minutes as Les Dogues easily accounted for Rennes to remain eighth in France's top flight.
The goals were Origi's first since September and is sure to have Reds supporters gushing as they look to properly welcome the young gun to Anfield ahead of the 2015/16 season.
