Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott is determined to push on and have a great rest of the season.
The teenager was a key member of manager Jurgen Klopp's team before the World Cup, despite only recently breaking through to the first team.
Elliott has received a lot of praise from people around the club, and he wants to repay their faith in him as the season resumes.
"I had to keep thinking to myself about the position that I'm in, along with a team that has always supported me," stated Elliott as part of JD Sports' King of the Game Christmas campaign.
"That kept me going, I couldn't wait to return to the pitch and make more memories with my team. My family were around me from the day my injury happened. Just to have them by my side really helped aid my recovery.
"Getting back to full fitness and playing again, to put a smile on their faces and go out and show them, as well as show the world what kind of human being you are."
