England are confident of winning the Under-21 European Championships this summer.

The Three Lions, coached by Everton legend Lee Carsley, are one of the favourites to go all the way.

While Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott knows there is quality throughout the competition, he is backing the Young Lions to go all the way.

“Look at the names here, the quality we have," Elliott told The Mail.

“For us players this European Championship is a big thing. We're fully confident we can go and win it. There is no reason why not. We have all the tools.

“People might think it's a holiday but we don't see it like that. We want to come here and stamp our authority. It's a great chance to showcase our talent and show the world what we're all about."
