Liverpool are said to be among the Premier League clubs seeking to sign an attacker from La Liga.

The Anfield side and two others are preparing to make a move for Real Betis striker Assane Diao.

The 18-year-old has managed six goals in 14 senior games in the 2023-2024 season so far.

Per Mucho Deporte, he has a release clause of around £26 million, but Betis are pushing him to sign a new deal.

If Diao does renew, he would still be within reach for any English side, given their financial might.

His new release clause is set to be £34.6 million, if he decides to extend his Betis contract.
