Liverpool are believed to be showing significant interest in Simon Kjaer.

The Reds reportedly sent scouts to watch the Denmark international in action for Lille in their French Ligue 1 meeting with Guingamp on the weekend.

Kjaer was also watched by Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan as the chase for his services starts to heat up.

Kjaer, 25, has played 46 times for Denmark and his previous clubs include Roma, Wolfsburg, Palermo and Midtjylland.
