Liverpool are preparing a bid for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.
The Daily Mail says the Reds are turning to the Portugal international after receiving a double midfield snub in recent days.
Liverpool had offers for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia accepted by Brighton and Southampton respectively, but the pair have chosen to join Chelsea.
Fulham want £60m to sell 28-year-old Palhinha.
In addition to Palhinha, Cheick Doucouré, of Crystal Palace, as well as Nice's midfielder Khéphren Thuram are also on the Reds' radar.
